None. LocalTill runs in any modern web browser — on a phone, tablet, laptop, or desktop. You can use the same device you use for your loyalty management, or a dedicated counter device. No printer, scanner, or special terminal required.
Yes. The LocalLoyalty mobile app includes a merchant mode. Log in as a merchant, switch to the till, and you have a fully functional point of sale in your pocket. Scan customer QR codes with the phone camera.
LocalTill records the card payment in the sale log when you select "Card" as the payment method. You process the card on your existing card machine (Yoco, iKhokha, bank terminal) — LocalTill doesn't replace the physical card reader, it records and reconciles the sale.
Yes. Create an operator account for each staff member. Each operator logs into their own account and every sale is attributed to them. You can see exactly who processed each transaction in your sales history.
LocalTill requires an internet connection to process sales, look up customer loyalty data, and sync stock levels. It's browser-based, so a reliable Wi-Fi or mobile data connection is needed at the counter.
